- "Vehicle" means any motor vehicle listed for sale on our Platform.
- "Consumer" means an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
3. Scope of Services
3.1 Platform Services
We provide an online marketplace connecting Buyers and Sellers of vehicles in Ireland. Our services include:
- Vehicle listing and advertising
- Buyer and Seller communication facilitation
- Vehicle information display
- Search and filtering functionality
3.2 Our Role
We act as an intermediary platform only. We are not party to any transaction between Buyers and Sellers. The contract for the sale and purchase of any vehicle is made directly between the Buyer and Seller.
3.3 No Guarantee
We do not:
- Guarantee the accuracy of vehicle listings
- Warrant the condition, quality, safety, or legality of vehicles listed
- Verify the identity or legitimacy of Users
- Guarantee that transactions will be completed
4. User Accounts and Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
4.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Platform. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
5. Seller Obligations
5.1 Listing Requirements
Sellers must ensure that all vehicle listings:
- Contain accurate and truthful information
- Include clear photographs of the actual vehicle
- Disclose all material defects and vehicle history
- Comply with all applicable Irish and EU laws
- State the correct Vehicle Registration Number (VRN)
5.2 Legal Requirements
Sellers must:
- Have legal ownership or authority to sell the vehicle
- Provide valid documentation including logbook (RF 100) or CRF (Certificate of Roadworthiness) where applicable
- Ensure the vehicle has valid Motor Tax and National Car Test (NCT) where required
- Disclose any outstanding finance on the vehicle
- Comply with the Sale of Goods Act 1893 and Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980
5.3 Prohibited Practices
Sellers must not:
- List stolen vehicles
- Misrepresent vehicle condition, mileage, or history
- Engage in misleading or fraudulent practices
- Discriminate against potential Buyers
5.4 Pricing and Fees
All prices must be clearly stated in Euro (€) and include all applicable taxes. Any additional fees must be disclosed before purchase.
6. Buyer Obligations
6.1 Due Diligence
Buyers are responsible for:
- Inspecting vehicles before purchase
- Verifying vehicle history and documentation
- Conducting independent mechanical inspections
- Checking the National Vehicle and Driver File (NVDF) for vehicle history
6.2 Payment
Buyers must ensure secure payment methods and should never:
- Send payment before inspecting the vehicle
- Use unsecured payment methods
- Make payments to suspicious or unverified accounts
7. Consumer Rights (For Consumer Purchases)
7.1 Right to Information
Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, consumers have the right to receive clear information about:
- The Seller's identity and contact details
- The main characteristics of the vehicle
- The total price including all taxes and delivery charges
- Payment, delivery, and performance arrangements
- The existence of a right to cancel (where applicable)
7.2 Distance Contract Rights
For vehicles purchased online without prior physical inspection, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of receipt to cancel the contract without giving a reason, unless the vehicle has been personalised or the Seller is a private individual.
7.3 Conformity with Contract
Vehicles must:
- Be of merchantable quality
- Be fit for purpose
- Match any description provided
- Comply with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980
If the vehicle does not meet these standards, consumers are entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund within the limitation period (6 years in Ireland).
7.4 Unfair Contract Terms
Under the European Communities (Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts) Regulations 1995, any term that puts consumers at an unfair disadvantage may be considered void.
8. Pricing and Payment
8.1 Listing Fees
Sellers may be required to pay listing fees as outlined in our Pricing Schedule. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
8.2 Transaction Payments
We do not process vehicle purchase payments. All financial transactions are conducted directly between Buyer and Seller. We recommend using secure, traceable payment methods.
8.3 Price Changes
Sellers may modify listing prices at any time before a binding agreement is reached with a Buyer.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Platform Content
All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and compilation, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by Irish and international copyright laws.
9.2 User Content
By submitting content (including photographs, descriptions, and reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting our Platform.
9.3 User Warranties
You warrant that any content you submit:
- Does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Does not contain defamatory, offensive, or illegal material
- Is accurate and not misleading
10. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
- Harass, abuse, or harm other Users
- Attempt to circumvent our security measures

- Vehicle defects, accidents, or disputes between Users
- Fraudulent activities by Users
13.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
13.4 Consumer Rights Protection
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law
